So, I suppose it's time I have a blog... it seems like a good way to catalog one's life.
Tonight I'm going to be screening some of my films at the Unknown Theatre. Mather Louth, a beautiful lady in a lovely band, saw some of my films at the Echo Park Film Center and approached me to collaborate. So for fun we made "A Mather Louth Teaser". It's going to be premiering tonight. Mather and her band; Radio Noir, currently have residency at The Unknown Theatre. Timur and his band are going to be performing as well. Here is a flyer I made for the event. I'm a bit nervous about the audience. Specifically that there may not be much of one. Most of the people I know are away for the holidays and it's difficult to compete with all the major holiday events happening around town. So I guess fate will decide what's in its cavern of wonders for this evening...
Also, I just found out that there is a play in the theatre until 10pm. So at 10pm sharp we need to get inside and start setting-up. I guess that means no sound check.
er Louth teaser. I love the colors in this film. I wasn't sure to expect because I was using exterior film in an interior room with non-tungsten-balanced lights. It was a high exposure experiment, but I love the results.
